A Verse For Opening The Heart. Less a week until Christmas🎄 Heaven, earth and human are all teachers with infinite wisdom. In Ren Xue, the "KaiXin Verse" is used as a support to open the heart, to allow its true nature and unconditional qualities to manifest. I’m sure you have feelings about asking what this truly means for you. Everybody does, especially if you’re seeking for something specific in some way. Health, happiness, a sense of wellbeing and growth are great words, but to make them real, your Xin, spiritual heart, and its qualities, especially the five essential ones, need to be cultivated. >> Trust In our heart the 5 Xin qualities are not very well or fully manifested and actually, they are hardly manifested. That's the reality. How does this kind of reality affect you, us, also as humanity? We individuals face so many problems. As humanity we face even many more complex problems. Some seem too big to deal with. Xin problems play a very big role in human problems. Each person needs to look at her and himself and others to see what the connection is between Xin and the problems. What happens when the potential of the heart is not fully manifested? If we look deep enough we can see that the opposite qualities of 5 Xin will manifest. Each quality has an opposite that will arise in the absence of the natural quality. It’s a bit like Yin and Yang–always trying to find balance. If the negative qualities grow, the positive ones will weaken. There’s no vacuum–the opposite quality will manifest in the absence of the natural quality. It’s a sure thing. When our heart has been in this state for a long time, it gets more and more difficult to feel the natural qualities there. Gradually, it seems that we lose the ability to feel and experience them. Then, for instance, when love is not well manifested, antagonism grows. If you’re worried about diving deep into the opposite qualities, like antagonism, animosity, antipathy, enmity, hostility, and rancor, and you don’t want to hang readily in hostility, bitterness and opposition, worry not! This work can look like extra "unlike shadow kingdom material", and also according to our defined references is 'extra negative', but it’s an awesome opportunity to tighten up those collected 'gold flakes' and 'black sand' evidences swirling in your gold pan aka your reference system. This is something we need to become aware of and take care of, by working on the 5 Xin qualities—bringing more bright light to the heart with the seventh method of Ren Xue Life Cultivation called Tong Yuan. The purpose of Tong Yuan is to cultivate and grow the spiritual heart. The heart has wonderful natural qualities, and they can manifest unconditionally. The word 'cultivate' in this context refers to learning, growing, developing and transforming by uplifting. A few common meanings of the mandarin terms: Through opening, making connection and purifying Xin Ling (the heart consciousness) on a deep level, and through cultivating and strengthening Wu Xin (the 5 essential heart qualities), a barrier-free connection and unification between one’s Xin and Shen/consciousness, between Xin and Qi (vital energy life force), between oneself and other people, and between oneself and the Qi and information of nature can be achieved. Through Tong Yuan practice, your heart is given the opportunity to be restored to its original, natural state so that its beautiful qualities can manifest without any conditions. This symbolizes the work that we do on the heart to remove barriers and obstacles that can block the manifestation of natural and positive heart qualities. Cultivating the heart and the five essential qualities can bring change to the totality of our life. It has deep and far reaching effects on how we experience every present moment. Gradually, unpleasant feelings and negative emotions can be replaced by a pure heart filled with joy, love, and all kinds of wonderful feelings and experiences. And you, Reader, are likely to be reading this precisely because you too, long to manifest your pure true heart. For now this is it (at least in 2025). What an incredible year of exploration of the obstacles to the unknown change, and getting to know ourselves better!
