\"It should make me feel excited and happy.\"
\"If it is all I wanted.\"
That is it. These are the presents we all live for, like \"life has never been better\".
\nIt is probably not unfair to say many people bypass presents that are given to them. These certain presents can start to close our hearts and minds.
\nGuess what that could be?
\nWhat about the shadow self?
\nAre you annoyed?
\nWhen a present isn't aligned with our pre-conditions, this is where we could really not bounce back from, especially when our whole life is centered around wanting this good feeling, and to having those presents 'cause they make us forget the bad times.
\nYou may be wondering how it is possible to cherish everything and everyone, even when you haven’t really benefited from these things or people? It’s like how can I be grateful for someone who has brought an unwanted experience into your life or even caused you misery?
\nWhen you open to something different, you open the door to a different place. It can be helpful to see things from a different light, to see things you haven’t seen before, and to have new insights. This is an act of CHERISHING EVERY PRESENT 🎁.
\nIs there such a thing as absolutely good or bad? What should be considered a cherished present?
\nShould this be just anyone’s subjective feelings, likes and dislikes? It’s like the universe saying: Please excuse me for the unpleasant present. If you’d be open to cultivate yourself when you feel good I’d send it to you differently. But often we are less motivated to cultivate our life when we feel good.
\nWhat about a challenging or disturbing present?
\nYou can see it as a good thing.
\nI don’t know, Mirjam. \"Sometimes it can be a good thing, sometimes it doesn't. This time I don’t.\"
\nWhen crooked patterns are triggered, often crooked heart patterns also arise. This can be a very unpleasant experience and blame can easily be projected onto the trigger.
\nThe unwanted present.
\nIf you see it that way, the trigger becomes the enemy.
\nTrying to bypass presents that don’t fit our pre-conditions is a recipe for improve-free. What is more, with bypassing them we won’t be able to learn from them. We bypass our teachers and we lose to be inspired to develop further.
\nI’m excited to turn every situation into a chance to see and face my presents.
\nAm I ALWAYS though?
\nIf I very clearly DON’T LIKE IT, I step away from the projecting onto the trigger, turn the mirror around and examine my pre-conditions.
\nThis process may be very (sometimes very very very) disturbing and unpleasant.
\nMy apologies for this unsatisfying newsletter. My intention isn’t to make you feel worse and run off.
\nRun off readers won’t continue to read your newsletters, yet I would encourage you not to continue to read if feeling uncomfortable isn't something you want to be feeling.
\nBut if it is ok…
\nThen in this sense, isn't it true that everything is worthy of us being cherished?
\nXOM

Do you want a present? Generally we love presents 🎁 But the question is all wrong. Because one certain present can cause everything to crumble. A better question is, "How do you want a present?" Like, those presents that are all fueled by "As long as I like it." That is it. These are the presents we all live for, like "life has never been better". It is probably not unfair to say many people bypass presents that are given to them. These certain presents can start to close our hearts and minds. Guess what that could be?
